* Make sure floors stay clean and dry so that falls slips and any other accidents do not occur.

*eliminate fire hazards by keeping only the necessary amount to combustible materials in the designated area.

* control dust and dust particles

*keep walk ways clean of mess and clutter

*store all items properly 

*make sure to always have the correct amount of personal protective equipment available.

*work area mats should be kept clean to avoid the spread of hazardous materials 

* remove any damaged tools from the work area

*written protocols help everyone to know when and how to do the job they are doing to make sure they are safe and no one gets hurt.
