Snow and the Home
1/18/2019 (Permalink)
Storms of any kind can leave your home with minor to extreme damages. We're prepping for a few days of snow to fall, dropping temperatures, blowing snow, slippery roads, and more. Have you ever considered what snow can do to your home?
With snow, typically comes mid to high wind gusts, sleet in some cases, and very low temperatures. If your home is not equipped with storm windows and doors, then you may be experienced either lost heat from your home and/or cold winds coming inside. Rolling into cold temperatures inside the home, pipes can freeze and burst. If a pipe does burst, you will be left with water damage. It’s important to contact SERVPRO® of Hancock County IMMEDIATELY, as we are the expert water damage restoration and clean up crew.
